He's also a daydreamer...constantly imagining himself as a comic book hero, or in the arms of his childhood crush, Stacey Stuart. Reality is unfortunately not as kind to poor Alex: Stacey hardly knows he's alive, and her boyfriend Bud delighted in bullying him all through high school..not to mention his father cut him off from the family fortune. Still, Alex views his first day at college as a new beginning...finally he can get away from Bud, learn the skills he needs to be successful on his own, and maybe even forget about Stacey...at least, that what HE thinks......
