Sgt. Henry Brant is the NYPD’s go-to man regarding any incidents involving super powered beings. In fact, Brant may be the only man in the City who truly knows what is going on, and the secrets behind the “supers outbreak.” Clearly the beneficiary of “special protection from higher up,” Brant helped keep the existence of supers secret for years, and did so out of genuine concern for the safety of the general public. Once the secret was out, Brant continued that mission by covertly seeking the help of super heroes like Lazerman and Vindication to deal with larger threats. Now, Brant serves as unofficial liaison between the US Department of Meta-Human affairs and the NYPD.
